This photograph shows an industrial horizon superimposed on the beach and sea. It was taken at Punggol Point on a photography field trip.

2. How did you come up with the idea for this artwork? How much help did the teacher give?

It was an accidental double exposure but it came out quite okay. Mr. Lim helped a lot with the camera.

3. What are some of the difficulties faced when making the work?

Adjusting the length and distance for the right focus (for double exposure)

4. (For groups) How did you come to a consensus on any decisions?

5.What have you learnt from this extended art project? (technical or about the environment)

How to compose photographs was just one part of it, but quite a major one as it applies to compositions in general. Also, technical aspects of camera use was a useful thing to know. And – the value of accidental art.

6. Did you make any sketches, preparatory studies before commencing on this?

No. 

7. If you had more resources, what will you improve for the art work? Or not at all?

I would have tried to take this photograph by choice and not by accident.
